2. Purchasing Art from Sarah Fosse
2.1 When you place an order with Sarah Fosse Art, you are offering to buy my artwork. I will send you an e-mail to confirm that I have received your order and payment.
2.2 In the unlikely event that the artwork is no longer available, or that I have made a pricing mistake, I will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order.
2.3 I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of my artwork that appear on this website. However, I cannot guarantee that your display on your computer monitor, tablet or mobile device will accurately reflect the colour and tone of the original art. I can only show what technology allows me to showcase.
2.4 Whilst I try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and provided in good faith.
3. How to buy Sarah Fosse Art
3.1 You can use this website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy. If you prefer to order by telephone, please call 01243 551861.
3.2 Shipping charges will be given before you commit to buy anything.
3.3 I use secure payment facilities for online purchases. You can pay for your order by Visa or Mastercard via PayPal. I also accept BACS and international transfers.
3.4 All prices quoted on my website are in UK pounds and include UK Value Added Tax at the current rate. If you purchase from a country or territory that is not subject to UK VAT you may be able to claim that back once your goods are received.
3.5 For non-UK countries there may be additional charges for importing goods. It is your responsibility to pay import duty if charged.
3.6 Once your order had been completed I will notify you of the dispatch date, within 7 days.
4. Delivery and Shipping Charges
4.1 Goods will be dispatched from Sarah Fosse Art within 7 working days.
4.2 Sarah Fosse Art will normally be delivered within 2-3 working days of dispatch within the UK and 7-10 days for overseas shipments.
4.3 Your art will be delivered to the address you gave on your order. You must be at home to accept delivery of your order, which is normally between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday-Friday. I will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.
4.4 Disposal of packing materials is your responsibility.
4.5 After two failed delivery attempts, (or if you are not at home for an agreed delivery), the goods may be returned to Sarah Fosse Art where I reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge.
4.6 If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, I reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by our carriers for redirecting your delivery.
4.7 Please check the goods on delivery. Any goods found to be damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or to me within 3 working days of delivery.
4.8 If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let me know promptly.
4.9 Sometimes, for reasons beyond mine or the couriers control I may be prevented from delivering your goods. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion or malicious damage.
5. Cancellation and Returns
5.1 You can cancel your order at any time up to 7 days after the day of delivery. To cancel, please e-mail or write to me with a brief explanation giving your reasons for cancellation. This will help me improve the service I offer to customers in future. I am unable to accept cancellations by phone.
5.2 If you cancel, you must return the art, complete with the original packaging, within 7 days of cancellation at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
5.3 You may properly examine the goods for 7 days as you would do had you visited my gallery space.
5.4 I will refund all monies paid to me, including the original shipping charges within 30 days, less any return costs due as outlined in section 5.2
5.5 This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
